Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-05-28 Site: flowseekerlab.io Operator: seonjae (individual operator, based in the Republic of Korea) Contact for privacy requests: seonjae@flowseekerlab.io
This Privacy Policy explains what information FLOW SEEKER LAB (“the site”, “we”) collects when you visit, how it is used, and the rights you have over it. The site is operated as a personal publication by one individual author. It is not a registered company and does not sell any product or subscription.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.
1. Information we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the site and to understand how readers find it.
1.1 Information you give us directly
- Email correspondence. When you email seonjae@flowseekerlab.io, we receive whatever you write and your email address. We do not add you to any list and we do not publish your message.
- Comments (if enabled). If WordPress comments are turned on for a post, your comment, the name you supply, and a hash of your email address are stored by WordPress so the comment can be displayed. Anti-spam services may inspect comment content (see Section 3).
- Form submissions. We do not currently run a newsletter signup or contact form. If that changes, this section will be updated before the form goes live.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider (Liquid Web / Nexcess) for security and performance reasons. These typically include:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and timestamps
- Referring URL
This information is used to keep the site running, to investigate abuse, and to fix broken pages. We do not use raw server logs for marketing.
1.3 Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes only:
- Essential WordPress cookies — set when you interact with the site (for example, leaving a comment) so WordPress can remember your input on the next page.
- Analytics cookies — if Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to count unique visits and understand which posts are being read. The data is aggregated and we cannot identify individual readers from it.
- Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) — if AdSense is approved and enabled, Google and its partners set cookies to serve relevant ads. See Section 2.
You can control or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
2. Google AdSense and third-party ads
We may participate in the Google AdSense program. When AdSense is active on the site:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the web.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other websites.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting the Google Ads Settings page.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google’s full privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy & Terms page.
We do not directly share your personal information with advertisers. We do not run other third-party ad networks.
3. Other third-party services
The site relies on a small number of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy and you should review those if relevant.
- Liquid Web / Nexcess — web hosting.
- WordPress (Automattic) — content management system and core platform.
- Google Analytics (if enabled) — visit measurement.
- Anti-spam — if Akismet or a similar service is enabled, it inspects comments for spam classification.
- Gemini and Anthropic — these are LLM providers used in the writing process for drafting and editing. They do not collect data from site visitors.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
4. Affiliate links and disclosures
Some posts may contain affiliate links to tools the author personally uses (for example, no-code agent builders or vibe-coding editors). When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to tools the author has personally paid to use over time. See the Terms & Disclaimer for the full affiliate disclosure.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over the data this site processes about you.
- European Union / EEA / UK (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email seonjae@flowseekerlab.io with the request.
- California (CCPA / CPRA): You have the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of any “sale” of personal information. The site does not sell personal information.
- Republic of Korea (PIPA): Korean residents have rights to access, correction, deletion, and suspension of processing under the Personal Information Protection Act.
- Other jurisdictions: Where local law grants you privacy rights, we will respect them.
Requests are handled in good faith within a reasonable time after we verify identity. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
6. Data retention
- Server logs are retained by the hosting provider for the period defined in their standard retention policy (typically days to weeks).
- Comments, if enabled, are retained as long as the related post is published.
- Email correspondence is retained until no longer needed for the conversation; you may ask us to delete it at any time.
- Analytics data, where collected, is retained per Google Analytics defaults.
7. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 (or under the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please email seonjae@flowseekerlab.io and it will be deleted.
8. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect the site, including HTTPS for all traffic, strong administrator credentials, and standard hosting-provider safeguards. No method of transmission over the internet is one hundred percent secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. International transfers
The site is operated from the Republic of Korea and hosted in data centers operated by Liquid Web / Nexcess (typically United States). If you visit from outside Korea or the United States, your data may be transferred and processed in those jurisdictions.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site adds or removes services. The “Effective date” at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the page for at least thirty days.
